Just nearby lies Neptuni åkrar – a unique field of rounded shingle stones along the coast, where blue viper's bugloss blooms in the summer. Northern Öland offers a limestone coast, oak woodlands, orchids and one of the country's finest areas for birdwatching.

About us

The family behind Havsutsikten Byxelkrok

Havsutsikten Byxelkrok is run as a family business (Höjer AB) with over 20 years of experience in rentals on northern Öland. We live and work here ourselves and know Byxelkrok inside out – from the best bathing rocks and sunset spots to when the ferry to Blå Jungfrun departs.

We look after our accommodation personally and with care: well equipped, clean and newly renovated, so that you can relax from the very first moment. We are happy to help you find the right accommodation and answer your questions quickly – whether you want a quiet family week in an apartment, a cottage near the sea or a spot for your motorhome.

How do I book accommodation?

Send a booking enquiry via the booking page, or email/call us. We will get back to you quickly with available weeks and prices. The enquiry is not binding.

What is included in the accommodation?

A fully equipped kitchen, a newly renovated bathroom with shower and toilet, a TV and free parking right outside. All accommodation has sea views.

How many people can stay?

Each apartment and the Solhäll cottage sleeps up to 4 people (4 beds).

Do you rent by the week or by the night?

The apartments and the cottage are rented by the week. The motorhome pitch is paid for by the night.

How far is it to the harbour and the shop?

Within walking distance of Byxelkrok harbour, the grocery shop and the restaurants.

Is there parking?

Yes, free parking is included right outside your accommodation.

What does the motorhome pitch cost and how do you pay?

SEK 120 per night, paid for on site by cash or Swish.

Are pets allowed?

When are high and low season?

Low season weeks 14–22, mid season weeks 23–26 and 33–40, high season weeks 27–32.
